Starlink V3 Unboxing & Setup
We have some long camping trips planned for this summer and while we can often get cellular service on trips, we ended up in two places last year that had Zero service. We decided that we needed reliable service this year because both of us will need to work during our extended trip.
We chose Starlink and got the standard Starlink Dish, Gen 3 Wifi router and all of the accessories that come with it because we think that, for the price, this will work great for us.
The cost of the set up was 599, plus tax. The service is currently $150/month, but does allow us to turn it on and off for the periods which we need it.
We like this setup because it seems like a much more portable setup from the version 2 dish. Once we get down the road and have some real experience with the service, we will post a review. We did a few speed tests in the video, but they are not totally indicative of what we will get on the road as this was done in our backyard.
