We Drove Over The Longest Bridge (Over Water)

It's been a wild couple of weeks since we left the Florida Caverns. We crashed an Airstream Rally and made some friends near Dothan Alabama, then we headed through Mobile and into Louisiana.

While we were in Mandeville, we met for coffee with some family and had a great time reconnecting on their home turf. We also got to head into New Orleans and meet with an out another out of town family member and had lunch at the Turkey and The Wolf. The food was excellent. Nick had the Fried Pot Pie (delicious) and We also sampled the Collard Green Melt.

We also spent an afternoon in New Orleans visiting the NPS Jazz Site and the Jean Lafitte Site. Abita Brewing provided some great beers for an afternoon. Our favorite was the Andygator. Overall this was an excellent stop in our travels and we can't wait to go back.

Next week we are stopping in another part of South Louisiana to visit with Family and built some things for the Airstream. Our Flying Cloud came with a pretty wobbly table and we are replacing the pedestals and the table top. Because it seemed like an easy build, we also replaced the tops of the two side tables in the bedroom.

Thanks for watching and if you're on the road, we hope that we get to run into you!
