We spent days hiking through the national parks and Dead Horse Point State Park and had a great time on all of them. The east and west rim trails at Dead Horse Point are amazing views, but big horn trail was definitely our favorite in the park. At Canyonlands our favorite hike was Upheaval Dome, where we got to see where a meteor likely impacted the Earth. The first lookout is an easy hike and the second is a bit more strenuous, but still doable as a novice in about an hour.
