Exploring An Abandoned Ghost Town in Thompson Springs, Utah

After a quick stop in Grand Junction, where we took in the beautiful scenery and enjoyed some refreshments, we are off to the stunning state of Utah to spend an exciting day in Thompson Springs' Ballard RV Park and Vacation Rentals.

During our stay, we are eager to check out the fascinating ghost town that adds a touch of history and mystery to our adventure, as well as explore the breathtaking Sego Canyon. The Pictographs we stumbled upon are particularly interesting, although we were disappointed to see some graffiti placed there by someone that detracts from their beauty. The canyon itself was a fun and adventurous place to hike, offering us incredible views and a sense of tranquility as we immersed ourselves in nature. During our hike, we also made a thoughtful stop by the Sego Canyon Cemetery, where we took a moment to reflect on the past and pay our respects. Next week, we are moving on to the awe-inspiring Arches National Park, where we will marvel at the natural rock formations, Canyonlands National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes, and the stunning Dead Horse Point State Park, which offers breathtaking vistas that are not to be missed.
