Stopping in st louis for warranty work and to visit the Gateway Arch
Continuing this journey we made our first of three service stops when we rolled in to Wentzville Missouri. We purchased our Airstream from Bill Thomas just over a year ago and we stopped in for two reasons. First we needed to get a couple of warranty items looked at (our door, a cabinet, a few rivets). But we also get to stay on one of there 10+ pads for free when we come through town and this gave us an opportunity to get a few free nights in near St. Louis so we could go get ourselves some St. Louis Pizza (with Provel Cheese) and visit the Gateway Arch. Our visit to the Arch was the first time that we took our dogs to a national park. We walked them around and Emily got a lot of visitors when Nick went through the visitors center. This was the second time at the Arch for Nick, but the last time was sometime around 1988, when his brother was in school near St. Louis. After a few long days, we spent a few hours roaming the lot of Bill Thomas and taking a look inside a Brinkley and a Grand Design fifth wheel. Overall it was a great time.
