Campground Tour: Joe Wheeler State Park in Alabama

This stop takes us to Joe Wheeler State Park in northern Alabama. We started this trip saying that Alabama is the Country's best kept secret because neither of us knew how great it was. Joe Wheeler is a great park with plenty to do if you like boating or fishing. The campground and day use areas are spectacular. In 2020 a tornado hit the park and destroyed the day use area as well as the campground loops of B and C. The state rebuilt these and made them wonderful. This video is a little short because we were stuck inside due to the weather from the Hurricane Helene storm (you;'ll see in our weather app that it was circling us). We had light rain and wind for the first part of our trip, but it never got terrible. At the end of this stay we were just 5 days away from our appointment in Dadeville Alabama at Airstream Nuts & Bolts and we were both quite excited for our upgrades. The dogs got to play here in some wide open areas. Joe Wheelers playground at the front of the park was quite spooky, but more old than anything and we thought it was fun to make it look like a scary horror film.
