What If Your RV Reservation is Lost?

What do you do when you check in for a campground and the reservation was lost? We found out this week. We visited Oak Mountain State Park near Birmingham Alabama. Some of our time was spent working, but we also got to go on a hike in the park to an overlook that was a bit underwhelming, should that be called an underlook? The park seems to have been upgraded pretty recently with a really great kids park, dog park and new bath houses with 10 singles restrooms that include showers, a sink and a toilet. When we checked in for this stay is when we found out that our reservation didn't quite take and because of that, we had to find a new place to stay on Friday night, but that made our Saturday night plans irrelevant as well. Luckily we found Hodges Winery and Vineyard near Auburn Alabama and just 20 minutes from Dadeville. While we were there, we visited Auburn to get pizza at Little Italy and ice cream at Brusters. Hodges was a great location and had Electric, Sewer and Water on the site. They were amazing Harvest Hosts and made our stay great. We had a great 5 days in Oak Mountain State Park and at Hodges. Our next video will cover all of the upgrades that were done at Airstream Nuts and Bolts and why we chose to get them done. We are reserving reviewing all of the upgrades until we have gotten a chance to use them a bit.
