Digging for Diamonds and Visiting Hot Springs National Park - Did we find a diamond๐Ÿ’Ž?

We went digging for diamonds ๐Ÿ’Ž at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas and explored bathhouse row ๐Ÿ› at Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This was en route to the main stop of our trip, Buffalo Point Campground.

We spent two nights at the Crater of Diamonds campground and a day digging for diamonds. We share some tips from our experiences for those visiting the park after us. Although, we didn't walk away with gemstone, we hope if you head our advice that you will find a magnificent stone.

Next, we drove from Crater of Diamonds State Park to Hot Springs National Park. We walked down Bathhouse Row and explored some bathhouses. Then we hiked to a few of the hot springs, just behind Bathhouse Row. The five dogs accompanying us on our visit were swore in as US Bark Rangers. We want to thank National Park Ranger, Cade, for his incredible ceremony.

This was a quick stop at Hot Springs National Park, and we plan on making a longer stop in the future. There are many things on our list that we were unable to accomplish, including drinking a beer at the only brewery and bar in a National Park.

What's on your list this summer as places to visit? Let us know if you've been to either of these parks. Did you find a diamond?!
