What to do on the Blue Ridge Parkway?
Our stop in North Carolina took us to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a scenic drive and a few stops. Crabtree Falls was a great 3 mile hike and had a payoff of being able to stop at the water fall for about 30 minutes to take it all in. Our stop in Little Switzerland gave us some perspective of the small towns that thrive on tourism. The Switzerland Lodge has an amazing overlook to the mountains and the Switzerland Cafe had an amazing lunch for us. We also hiked around Linville Falls, while it wasn't as impressive as Crabtree, we still had an enjoyable time on a hike that we would qualify as easy.
