Trouble with the Truma

We returned from our first camping trip of the season and experience intermittent hot water throughout our adventure. The hot water would run for a couple of seconds, then turn cold for 5-10 seconds. After some research and trouble-shooting we were able to fix the hot water issues.

🚰 Here are some tips on how to solve hot water issues with the Truma Water Heater in the Airstream:

  • Check the water valves and confirm correct position

  • Confirm Truma water heater is plugged in to outlet, if using electric

  • Turn on Truma control panel

  • Select appropriate heat source on control panel
