Comparing Airstreams - 23’ vs 25’ vs 27’

Have you ever wanted to see the difference between the Airstreams? Specifically the bed layout between the 25’ and 27’ Airstreams? We’ve been considering upgrading our current Airstream Basecamp to an Airstream Flying Cloud or International with a hatch. But one thing we can’t decide on is which bed configuration and overall setup of the trailers suit us best.

Well, we recently had the opportunity to visit the local Denver Airstream dealership and checked out a few different Airstream travel trailer models. We were able to tour a few 2022 Airstream trailers, including a 23FBQ Flying Cloud, 25RBT Flying Cloud (older model), 27FBQ with Bunk Flying Cloud, and a 23FBT International. This was a very interesting tour in that we got to compare several Airstream trailers side by side, so we could easily see the differences among them. We also got to compare the finishes on a Flying Cloud versus an International.

Which Airstream travel trailer do you like best? Do you prefer the walk around bed in the 23’ and 25’ or do you like the space of the 27’? We never thought twin beds would be an option for us, but they definitely offer space and openness in the trailer.

I would appreciate your thoughts and experience with any of these Airstream Trailers. Did you choose Flying Cloud over International? If so, what was your deciding factor? What made you ultimately choose one floor plan over the other?
